Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are applicable to CenturyLink Communications UK Limited’s prize draw to win Summer Game Hamper
1. To enter the prize draw referred to herein, Eligible Participants (as defined in clause 7 below) must complete and submit their highest score on the CenturyLink Digital Golf Game (the “Game”) at the following URL: http://centurylink.polishedrockltd.co.uk/minigame . Accessibility to the Game will depend (in part) on players having an uninterrupted internet connection to the Game. CenturyLink does not represent or warrant that the Game will be available, accessible or error free or that players will be able to submit their scores. CenturyLink accepts no responsibility if the Game is not available or if scores cannot be submitted.
2. In playing the Game and/or entering the prize draw referred to herein, players agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Without prejudice to the foregoing, but in the event that Eligible Participants have any questions, please contact emea.wholesale@centurylink.com. No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw.
3. The period for which a prize is available is limited to the (3) three week period as set forth below. One weekly prize is available to be won at the end of each week during this period. The opening and closing dates date for entries for each of such weeks 1, 2 and 3 are set forth below. Entries received before and after such periods will not be considered. Scores from previous weeks will not be carried forward to subsequent weeks and will not be considered for prizes in those subsequent weeks.
• Week 1 – the opening date for entries is 10am BST on 29 June 2020 and ends at 1pm BST on 10 July 2020
• Week 2 - the opening date for entries is 10am BST on 13 July 2020 and ends at 1pm BST on 22 July 2020
• Week 3 - the opening date for entries is 10am BST on 27 July 2020 and ends at 1pm BST on 05 August 2020
4. The Game may be played each week during the prize draw period. However, if an Eligible Participant wins one of the weekly prizes, they will no longer be eligible to win any further prize.
5. Each weekly prize is Summer Game Hamper, 1x felt cooler bag, 1x picnic rug, 1x eu de boules set: 3 balls (Ø 7.2 cm, 715 g) wooden jack and measuring cord.
6. Each weekly prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes and no alternatives will be offered.
7. The Game may be played by players aged 18 or over, but not everyone who plays the Game is eligible to enter the weekly prize draws or be considered for a prize. Entry into the weekly prize draw and eligibility for a prize is limited to those existing and prospective customer’s for CenturyLink’s products and services, who have first been invited by CenturyLink to play and have completed a validation process contained within the Game (“Eligible Participants”). CenturyLink’s determination of who is an Eligible Participant is final. For the avoidance of doubt, employees of CenturyLink, its affiliates or their family members, or anyone else connected with the prize draw may not enter the prize draw.
8. At the end of each week during the prize draw period, CenturyLink will select as the winning entry for that week, the Eligible Participant with the highest Game score submitted and received by CenturyLink during that week. If two or more Eligible Participants have the same highest score, the winner from those tied Eligible Participants will be selected at random by a CenturyLink employee. Losing entries will not receive any notification.
9. CenturyLink will make reasonable endeavours to contact each weekly winner (using the contact details provided by them in the Game). Following such notification, the winner will be required to send CenturyLink full details of their postal address to which CenturyLink will attempt to deliver the prize.
10. CenturyLink will use its reasonable endeavours to contact each weekly winner using the contact details provided by them in the Game. However, if each weekly winner cannot be contacted within 28 days of CenturyLink’s selection of the winner or the winner fails to respond by the expiry of that period, then the prize will be forfeited and CenturyLink may select an alternative winner with the next highest score for that prize. CenturyLink accepts no responsibility for any prize being lost, damaged, or delayed in the post.
11. CenturyLink’s decision on all matters contained herein is final and no correspondence will be entered in to in respect of its decision.
12. CenturyLink reserves the right to disqualify from the prize draw any entrant suspected of fraud or cheating.
13. CenturyLink and/or its affiliates may collect the personal information disclosed by Game players on the prize draw entry forms and will only use such information: (i) for the purposes set forth in clause 14 and of administration of this prize draw; (ii) to provide Game players with information about CenturyLink products and services, provided such players have opted to receive further contact from CenturyLink for that purpose. CenturyLink’s collection and use of such information will be in accordance with The General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679and any other applicable data privacy laws.
14. All Eligible Participants who have entered into the prize draw may apply for details of the winners (limited to first name and place of work) by contacting CenturyLink at: emea.wholesale@centurylink.com. Each weekly winner agrees to the release of their first name and place of work to any other Eligible Participants who have entered the prize draw and who request such details from CenturyLink.
15. If you are a winner, CenturyLink may request that you take part in any publicity or promotion organised by CenturyLink or its affiliates, including promotional photographs.
16. CenturyLink reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
17. Insofar as is permitted by law, CenturyLink shall not in any circumstances be responsible for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by any party as a result of playing the Game or entering into the prize draw described herein or in accepting the prize. Nothing herein shall be construed as limiting or excluding the liability of CenturyLink for: (i) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (ii) personal injury or death resulting from its negligence or those of its employees; or (iii) any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
18. The prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England. In the event of any dispute regarding these terms, the conduct, results, and any other matters relating to this prize draw, the decision of CenturyLink shall be final, and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
